Great Community by SelectAnn

Active Rain is a great community.  Here you can learn about SEO and how to clean up photos, all in the same day.  You can meet new people with similar views and you can make some wonderful friendships.  I have been fortunate to have been blessed with a "warped" sense of humor and this has really come in handy for me.  I have been able to find others here in the Rain with equally as unique a sense of humor.

What is life if you cannot laugh? 

Active Rain gives me a way to connect with people far away.  In connecting, I realize if we lived closer together, we would get together and be great friends.  You know who you are.....  I have spoken to several of you on the phone and it is like we are OLD friends because we have connected.

Community Respect

Active Rain has many rules concerning respect.  Many should go without saying but in our society of literal interpretation, I think the powers that be have done a good job.  The rules encourage people to be a part of the community. To help and learn from one another.  This is one aspect of Active Rain I tell others about.  The wealth of information shared by the members of the community is unbelievable.
